Bringing a sensibility to my visual art from my experiences with dance and in the theatre, I create drawings focused on my models as actors caught in a moment in time, and from these, interpretative sculptures that explore the emotional and perceptual ‘realities’ the poses suggest.

My mediums of choice are graphite and coloured pencil and clay, and sometimes these are combined or related to other mediums. My drawing style relates to Realism and Phenomenology, while my sculptures to Surrealism and Magic Realism, though I admit to a certain degree of irony in my sculptural work.
