In my decades of teaching, I have taught numerous styles, subjects, mediums and techniques at all levels within the ‘educational system as well as in the not-for-profit and for-profit sectors. In all this work, my intent is to develop expression, communication and rendering skills in tandem with the techniques of interpretation.

The aim is to guide the students from a physical, technique-based relationship to material, to a personal and emotional connection to subject as vehicle for expression, to an understanding of their imagery as representing ‘identity’ and ‘culture’ as social themes and concepts.
